Sunday was reserved for hiking to the Twin Falls in Haiku, then beach time in Paia.
We didn't do any swimming this time around, but I'd definitely be interested in going back for some swimming. The beach was relatively quiet, and I left early to meet up with an old friend for coffee.
I also got to drive the infamous Hana Highway for the first time ever, and I'm glad to say I made it through it alive. It also rained for the first time since I got to Maui, which was another first. We did have to pull over to snap a picture of a DOUBLE RAINBOW.
No one involved started crying over it, at least that I know of.
Many firsts that weekend, and it was a great weekend. Most of this week has been working hard to clean up the properties and get them prepped for the weekend. Painting will be involved for the next couple days, as well as a WWOOFER dinner, with fish, veggies, and some davey crockett bars from yours truly! It's going to be a great week, but I do miss Michigan a little.
